Pepperoni Pizza Like in a Restaurant
Description
Homemade pizza with a crispy semolina crust, spicy chili oil, tomato sauce and pepperoni — just like in the best pizzerias. One serving 300–400 g.
- Make the spicy oil: finely chop the chili pepper, cover with olive oil (5 ml) and let infuse for 10–15 minutes.
- Sift the flour into a bowl, add semolina, yeast and salt. Mix.
- Pour in 70 ml of warm water (about 35–40 °C) and the remaining olive oil (5 ml). Knead into a smooth, elastic dough.
- Cover the dough with a towel and let it rise in a warm place for 15–20 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to maximum temperature (250–280 °C).
- Roll the dough into a thin circle 25–28 cm in diameter, place on a baking sheet dusted with flour or semolina.
- Brush the base with pureed tomatoes, sprinkle with dried basil and lightly salt.
- Evenly distribute the sliced mozzarella and pepperoni.
- Bake for 8–12 minutes until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted.
- Drizzle the finished pizza with spicy chili oil, sprinkle with fresh basil and serve hot.
