Description

Homemade pelmeni made from whole grain flour with a tender chicken breast filling. Steamed, making them lighter and healthier compared to traditional boiled pelmeni.

  2. Knead stiff, elastic dough. Wrap in plastic and let rest for 30 minutes at room temperature.
  3. For filling: cut chicken fillet, onion and garlic into pieces for easy grinding.
  4. Grind chicken, onion and garlic in a blender or through a meat grinder until minced. Add salt and pehealthyer, mix thoroughly.
  5. Roll out dough into a thin sheet (about 2 mm). Use a glass or cutter to cut out circles.
  6. Place a small amount of filling (about 1 tsp) on each circle. Form pelmeni, sealing edges tightly.
  7. Place pelmeni in a steamer or multicooker rack at a small distance apart to prevent sticking.
  8. Steam for 20-25 minutes. Add a bay leaf to the water for steam for aroma.
  9. Serve hot pelmeni with low-fat sour cream (10%) or yogurt.
