- Slice the champignons thinly. Mince the garlic. Sauté the mushrooms with garlic on a dry non-stick pan for 3–4 minutes until the moisture evaporates and they turn lightly golden.
- Season the ground turkey with salt and pepper. Mix half of the sautéed mushrooms into the meat, stir, and shape into a flat patty.
- Fry the patty on a non-stick pan for 6 minutes on each side until fully cooked.
- Cut the whole wheat bun in half and toast in a pan or toaster.
- Mash the avocado with a fork to a paste consistency. Halve the cherry tomatoes.
- Spread the avocado paste on the bottom half of the bun, layer the lettuce leaf, the hot patty, the remaining sautéed mushrooms, and the cherry tomato halves.
