  1. Slice the champignons thinly. Mince the garlic. Sauté the mushrooms with garlic on a dry non-stick pan for 3–4 minutes until the moisture evaporates and they turn lightly golden.
  2. Season the ground turkey with salt and pepper. Mix half of the sautéed mushrooms into the meat, stir, and shape into a flat patty.
  3. Fry the patty on a non-stick pan for 6 minutes on each side until fully cooked.
  4. Cut the whole wheat bun in half and toast in a pan or toaster.
  5. Mash the avocado with a fork to a paste consistency. Halve the cherry tomatoes.
  6. Spread the avocado paste on the bottom half of the bun, layer the lettuce leaf, the hot patty, the remaining sautéed mushrooms, and the cherry tomato halves.
