Description

Tender turkey fillet under a mushroom cap with melted cheese and creamy sauce

  1. Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F).
  2. Cut the turkey into portions and pound to 1.5 cm thickness.
  3. Season the turkey with salt, pepper and paprika.
  4. Heat sunflower oil in a pan and sear the turkey for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
  5. Slice the leek into thin rings and the mushrooms into slices.
  6. In a separate pan, melt the butter and sauté the leek until soft.
  7. Add the mushrooms and cook for 5-7 minutes until the liquid evaporates.
  8. Pour in the cream, season with salt and pepper, and simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  9. Place the turkey in a baking dish.
  10. Spread the mushroom mixture over the top.
  11. Slice the mozzarella and place it over the mushrooms.
  12. Bake for 10-15 minutes until the cheese is fully melted.
  13. Serve hot, garnished with herbs if desired.
