Description

A hearty and flavorful hot dish: chicken legs braised with mushrooms, vegetables, and olives in white wine. Perfect for a home lunch or dinner.

  1. Season the chicken legs with salt and pepper, then fry in a preheated pan with vegetable oil until golden brown on all sides.
  2. Wash the new potatoes thoroughly (cut in half if necessary) and add to the pan with the chicken. Fry together for 5-7 minutes.
  3. Cut the onion into half rings, the champignons into slices, and the celery into small diagonal pieces. Add everything to the chicken and potatoes, cook for another 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Cut the tomato into 4-6 wedges and add to the pan. Add a pinch of sugar and herbes de Provence, stir gently.
  5. Pour in the dry white wine. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to low, cover with a lid, and simmer for 20-25 minutes until the chicken and potatoes are tender.
  6. Add the pitted olives and drizzle with olive oil. Stir and heat everything together for another 2-3 minutes.
  7. Serve hot, placing the chicken, potatoes, and vegetables with the sauce on a plate.
