  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F). Wash the potatoes thoroughly and cut into fry-shaped sticks. Pat dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.
  2. Toss the potatoes with half of the olive oil, half of the paprika, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Arrange in a single layer on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  3. Bake the potatoes for 20-25 minutes, flipping them with a spatula halfway through, until golden and crispy.
  4. While the potatoes are baking, finely chop half of the onion and the garlic clove. In a bowl, combine the ground turkey, half of the egg, half of the chopped onion and garlic, salt, pepper, and the remaining paprika.
  5. Mix the meat thoroughly until uniform and slap it against the bottom of the bowl a few times. Shape into small, round meatballs about the size of a walnut (approximately 6-7 pieces).
  6. Heat the remaining olive oil in a non-stick skillet and brown the meatballs on all sides until golden (about 5-7 minutes).
  7. For the sauce, dilute the tomato paste with 50 ml of hot water, add the remaining onion, chopped basil, and salt and pepper to taste. Pour the sauce over the meatballs and simmer covered over low heat for 10-12 minutes until fully cooked.
  8. Serve the meatballs with the sauce alongside the crispy oven-baked fries. Garnish with fresh basil leaves.
