Hot Sandwiches with Turkey, Cheese and Cranberry
Description
Crispy ciabatta with tender turkey fillet, melted cheese and sweet-sour cranberry sauce
- Slice the turkey into thin strips, season with salt and pepper, and fry in hot sunflower oil until golden brown.
- Place the cranberries in a saucepan, add sugar, a sprig of rosemary and 2–3 tbsp of water. Simmer over medium heat until thickened into a sauce.
- Cut the ciabatta in half, then slice each half lengthwise. Toast on a dry pan until crispy.
- Cut the garlic clove in half and rub it over the hot ciabatta surface.
- Slice the Camembert into thin pieces and the Suluguni into plates.
- Place the fried turkey on the bottom half of the ciabatta, top with Camembert and Suluguni.
- Cover with the top half of the ciabatta and place under the grill or in a preheated oven for 2–3 minutes until the cheese melts.
- Drizzle with the cranberry sauce before serving.
