Pork Schnitzel Cutlets with Apples
Description
Juicy pork cutlets with caramelized apples, mustard and smoked paprika. A quick hot skillet dish.
- Slice pork into pieces about 1 cm thick and pound lightly.
- Season with salt, brush with mustard and paprika, and leave for 5 minutes.
- Core the apple and cut into wedges.
- Heat a pan with 1 tbsp olive oil, fry apples for 2–3 minutes, add sugar and apple cider vinegar, caramelize for 1 minute and transfer to a plate.
- Add remaining oil and minced garlic to the same pan, cook for 30 seconds.
- Coat cutlets in breadcrumbs and place in the pan.
- Fry cutlets for 2–3 minutes per side until golden and fully cooked.
- Serve cutlets with caramelized apples.
