Description

Crispy chebureki made from whole wheat flour with a juicy filling of chicken fillet and fresh herbs. A perfect option for a hearty snack without harming your figure.

  1. In a bowl, mix whole wheat flour with a pinch of salt. Gradually add sparkling water and 1 teaspoon of olive oil, knead into an elastic dough. Let it rest for 15 minutes under plastic wrap.
  2. Finely chop the chicken fillet with a knife or pass through a meat grinder. Add very finely chopped onion, chopped dill and parsley.
  3. Season the minced meat with salt and pepper, mix well until smooth.
  4. Divide the dough into 2-3 parts. Roll out each part thinly into a circle about 15 cm in diameter.
  5. Place half of the filling on one half of the circle, leaving 1.5 cm from the edge. Cover with the other half, carefully seal the edges with a fork.
  6. Heat a dry non-stick pan over medium heat. Grease with the remaining olive oil using a silicone brush.
  7. Fry the chebureki for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown under the lid so that the filling is well steamed.
  8. Place the finished chebureki on a paper towel to remove excess oil. Serve hot.
