Healthy Chebureki with Chicken and Herbs
Description
Crispy chebureki made from whole wheat flour with a juicy filling of chicken fillet and fresh herbs. A perfect option for a hearty snack without harming your figure.
- In a bowl, mix whole wheat flour with a pinch of salt. Gradually add sparkling water and 1 teaspoon of olive oil, knead into an elastic dough. Let it rest for 15 minutes under plastic wrap.
- Finely chop the chicken fillet with a knife or pass through a meat grinder. Add very finely chopped onion, chopped dill and parsley.
- Season the minced meat with salt and pepper, mix well until smooth.
- Divide the dough into 2-3 parts. Roll out each part thinly into a circle about 15 cm in diameter.
- Place half of the filling on one half of the circle, leaving 1.5 cm from the edge. Cover with the other half, carefully seal the edges with a fork.
- Heat a dry non-stick pan over medium heat. Grease with the remaining olive oil using a silicone brush.
- Fry the chebureki for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown under the lid so that the filling is well steamed.
- Place the finished chebureki on a paper towel to remove excess oil. Serve hot.
