Minced Beef Steak with Egg
Description
Juicy homemade minced beef steak topped with a fried egg, cooked in a pan
- Mince the beef and lard together, or chop finely with a knife. Season the mixture with salt and pepper.
- Knead the mince thoroughly with your hands and slap it against the bowl to make it firm.
- Shape the mixture into a flat round patty, about 2 cm thick.
- Heat sunflower oil in a pan and place the steak in it. Fry over high heat for 3-4 minutes until a golden crust forms.
- Flip the steak, add butter and a crushed garlic clove to the pan. Cook for another 3-4 minutes, basting with the melted butter.
- Remove the steak from the pan and let it rest for 2-3 minutes.
- In the same pan or a clean heated pan, fry a sunny-side-up egg, keeping the yolk runny.
- Place the steak on a plate with lettuce leaves, top with the fried egg, add ketchup, and serve immediately.
