Buckwheat Cutlets with Minced Meat in Creamy Sauce
Description
Hearty cutlets made of buckwheat and ground beef, stewed in a delicate creamy sauce with smoked cheese.
- Boil the buckwheat groats in salted water until cooked (about 15-20 minutes). Let cool.
- Finely chop half an onion. Fry in half of the vegetable oil until translucent (2-3 minutes).
- Mix the ground beef, cooked buckwheat, and half of the fried onion. Season with salt and pepper.
- Form 2-3 cutlets from the mixture.
- Coat the cutlets in breadcrumbs.
- Fry the cutlets in the remaining oil on both sides until golden brown (about 3-4 minutes per side).
- Pour the cream over the cutlets, add the remaining onion and paprika. Simmer over low heat for 10 minutes.
- Grate the suluguni cheese. Sprinkle the cheese over the cutlets 2 minutes before they are done, allowing it to melt.
- Serve hot, drizzled with the creamy sauce.
