Description

Crispy chicken schnitzel in sesame breading with an Asian touch

  1. Cut the chicken fillet in half lengthwise to make a thin schnitzel
  2. Pound the fillet through plastic wrap to a thickness of 5–7 mm
  3. Season the chicken with salt and pepper on both sides
  4. Brush the schnitzel with soy sauce and let it rest for 5 minutes
  5. Beat the egg in a shallow plate
  6. Put the flour in a separate plate
  7. Put the sesame seeds in a third plate
  8. Dredge the schnitzel in flour and shake off the excess
  9. Dip the schnitzel into the beaten egg
  10. Coat the schnitzel in sesame seeds on all sides, pressing firmly
  11. Heat a pan with sunflower oil over medium heat
  12. Fry the schnitzel for 3–4 minutes on each side until golden brown
  13. Place the cooked schnitzel on a paper towel to remove excess oil
  14. Serve hot
