Lazy Healthy Chebureki from Lavash with Turkey
Description
A quick chebureki recipe without fussing with dough. Thin Armenian lavash and juicy ground turkey — an ideal protein lunch or dinner.
- Mince the turkey fillet through a meat grinder or chop finely. Grate the cheese on a coarse grater, finely chop the green onions.
- Mix the turkey mince, grated cheese and green onions. Season with salt and pepper. The cheese will make the filling juicy and bound.
- Cut the lavash into rectangles approximately 15x20 cm. Lightly sprinkle with water to make it elastic and prevent breaking.
- Place the filling on one half of the lavash. Brush the free edge with beaten egg for sealing. Fold the lavash in half and press the edges firmly with a fork.
- Heat a non-stick pan, grease with oil. Fry the chebureki over medium heat for 3-4 minutes on each side.
- To ensure the filling is well cooked, you can cover the pan with a lid for 2 minutes at the end. Serve immediately.
