Description

A quick chebureki recipe without fussing with dough. Thin Armenian lavash and juicy ground turkey — an ideal protein lunch or dinner.

  1. Mince the turkey fillet through a meat grinder or chop finely. Grate the cheese on a coarse grater, finely chop the green onions.
  2. Mix the turkey mince, grated cheese and green onions. Season with salt and pepper. The cheese will make the filling juicy and bound.
  3. Cut the lavash into rectangles approximately 15x20 cm. Lightly sprinkle with water to make it elastic and prevent breaking.
  4. Place the filling on one half of the lavash. Brush the free edge with beaten egg for sealing. Fold the lavash in half and press the edges firmly with a fork.
  5. Heat a non-stick pan, grease with oil. Fry the chebureki over medium heat for 3-4 minutes on each side.
  6. To ensure the filling is well cooked, you can cover the pan with a lid for 2 minutes at the end. Serve immediately.
