Description

A hearty Mexican-style appetizer: crispy nachos with juicy ground pork, tender guacamole and sour cream.

  1. Heat a frying pan with sunflower oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the ground pork, salt and paprika. Fry, breaking up lumps with a spatula, for 7-10 minutes until cooked.
  3. A minute before done, add the finely chopped garlic clove to the pork and stir.
  4. For the guacamole, peel the avocado, remove the pit and mash the flesh with a fork in a bowl.
  5. Squeeze the juice of half a lime over the avocado and stir.
  6. Add finely chopped red onion, half a tomato, cilantro, tabasco and salt to taste to the avocado. Mix well.
  7. Place nachos on a plate.
  8. Top with the fried ground pork.
  9. Add the guacamole and sour cream.
  10. Garnish with finely chopped red chili and remaining cilantro leaves.
