Chicken Wok Noodles with Vegetables and Teriyaki Sauce
Description
Quick and flavorful Asian-style dinner with chicken, crunchy vegetables and a savory teriyaki sauce.
- Prepare all ingredients: cut the chicken breast into thin strips, carrot and bell pepper into thin strips, and green onion into pieces. Finely chop the garlic and ginger.
- Cook the udon noodles in boiling salted water according to the package instructions (usually 3-5 minutes). Drain and rinse with cold water.
- Heat sunflower oil in a wok or deep frying pan over high heat.
- Fry the chicken breast until golden brown for 3-4 minutes, stirring.
- Add garlic and ginger to the chicken, fry for another 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the carrot and bell pepper, fry over high heat for 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly. Vegetables should remain slightly crunchy.
- Add the udon noodles to the wok and pour in the teriyaki sauce.
- Stir everything for 1-2 minutes so that the noodles and vegetables are evenly coated with sauce.
- Serve immediately, sprinkled with green onions and sesame seeds.
